Sources & methodology
DrAIStudio is a free, browser-based academic platform. This page explains who builds it, where our data comes from, how our learning materials are produced, and the standards we hold ourselves to — so students, faculty, and researchers can judge the work for themselves.
Who builds DrAIStudio
DrAIStudio is built and directed by an academic in Human Resource Management. The platform exists to make high-quality learning materials and research tools freely available to students, faculty, and researchers — with no login required for the tools and no paywall on the core content. You can read more on the About page or reach us via Contact.

Data sources & licensing
We are explicit about where our reference data comes from, and we attribute every source on the page where it appears.
Research scales
Each scale page cites the original publication it is drawn from, with a link to the source where available. A substantial portion of the management and organizational scales is compiled from the Wikibooks Handbook of Management Scales, used under the Creative Commons CC BY-SA 3.0 licence; personality-trait items drawn from the International Personality Item Pool (IPIP) are in the public domain. Other scales are attributed to their original peer-reviewed sources on each page.
Statistical tools
Our calculators implement standard, well-documented statistical methods (e.g., Cronbach's alpha, t-tests, ANOVA, chi-square, correlation and regression). The formula used is shown on each tool's page so you can verify it against any standard statistics textbook. Calculations run entirely in your browser; your data is not uploaded or stored.
How our learning materials are created
To offer this much material for free, our course materials are developed using a combination of curated academic sources and AI-assisted authoring, under academic direction, and are organised into a consistent weekly structure. We treat these materials as study resources and starting points — useful for orientation, revision, and self-paced learning — and we encourage learners to read widely and verify key claims and citations against primary sources.
Academic integrity & responsible AI
- Our academic writing assistant is built to improve clarity, structure, and academic tone while preserving meaning and citations. It is not designed to evade AI-detection systems, and it flags where you should add your own evidence and interpretation.
- We ask all users to follow their own institution's, employer's, and journal's authorship, citation, and AI-disclosure policies.
- Where AI tools assist in producing materials, that assistance is editorial; responsibility for what we publish remains ours, and we welcome corrections.
Corrections
