Common questions

Yes. DiagramCloud is part of DrAIStudio's free academic toolkit. No account, no subscription. If you'd like cloud sync and team workspaces in future, that will be a paid tier — the editor itself stays free for individuals.

In your browser's local storage. They persist across sessions on the same device, but won't follow you to a different computer. Use the Download button (top toolbar) to save your diagram as a .json file you can re-open later via Open file — that's the round-trippable format if you want to keep editing across devices, share with a colleague, or back up. Export as SVG/PNG when you're ready to drop the diagram into a manuscript or slide.

Double-click the arrow — a prompt appears where you can change the label (e.g. "H1", "causes", "mediates"). Same trick works on any shape — double-click to edit its text. You can also click an arrow once to select it and edit the label in the right inspector panel.

Yes — export as SVG and drop it into Word, Google Docs, LaTeX (via includegraphics), or LibreOffice. SVG scales without quality loss at any size. PNG export is also available if your publisher requires it.

Absolutely. Share the link draistudio.com/diagram.html with your class. They open it, build their diagram, export, and submit. No account needed.
