About this scale
A 60-item measure of organizational culture across four traits — involvement, consistency, adaptability, and mission — each with three indices.
Sample item(s)
“Most employees are highly involved in their work (involvement)”
“There is a clear and consistent set of values that governs the way we do business (consistency)”
“We continually adopt new and improved ways to do work (adaptability)”
“There is a long-term purpose and direction (mission)”
Reliability
Reported internal consistency: alphas 0.70–0.92 across 12 indices. As a rule of thumb, Cronbach’s α ≥ .70 is considered acceptable, ≥ .80 good, and ≥ .90 excellent for established measures.
Notes
Linked to organizational performance via the Denison Model.
