About this scale

A 13-item measure of subjective job stress with two dimensions: time stress (excessive demands) and job-related anxiety. Foundational job-stress measure in OB and occupational-health research.

Sample item(s)

“I feel guilty when I take time off from my job.”
“Working here makes it hard to spend enough time with my family.”
“I have too much work and too little time to do it in.”
