Measurement Invariance Testing (MGCFA)

HR & WorkReliability: method-level4 sample items

About this scale

A multi-group confirmatory-factor-analysis approach to test whether a measure functions equivalently across groups (e.g., countries, languages, gender). Tests configural, metric, scalar, and strict invariance.

Sample item(s)

“Configural model: same factor structure across groups”
“Metric model: same loadings”
“Scalar model: same intercepts”
“Strict model: same residuals”

Reliability

Reported internal consistency: method-level. As a rule of thumb, Cronbach’s α ≥ .70 is considered acceptable, ≥ .80 good, and ≥ .90 excellent for established measures.

Notes

Standard MGCFA framework for cross-group comparisons.
