About this scale

A 35-item measure of self-leadership across nine facets grouped into three dimensions: behaviour-focused strategies, natural reward strategies, and constructive thought patterns. Used widely in entrepreneurship and personal-effectiveness research.

Sample item(s)

“I look for activities in my work that I enjoy. (natural reward)”
“I purposefully visualize myself successfully performing a task before I do it. (visualizing)”
