HR & WorkReliability: alpha 0.76–0.88 across four dimensions3 sample items
About this scale
A 21-item measure of team trust along four dimensions: propensity to trust, perceived trustworthiness, cooperative behaviours, and monitoring behaviours. Captures both dispositional and behavioural facets of team-level trust.
Sample item(s)
“Most members of my team trust each other. (trustworthiness)”
“Members of my team work together as a team. (cooperative)”
“Members of my team check up on each other constantly. (monitoring, reverse for trust)”
Reliability
Reported internal consistency: alpha 0.76–0.88 across four dimensions. As a rule of thumb, Cronbach’s α ≥ .70 is considered acceptable, ≥ .80 good, and ≥ .90 excellent for established measures.
Notes
Use at the team level with appropriate aggregation diagnostics.
